Equip2go.com.au
recently unveiled its latest material handling equipment. Its
design allows shuttles to access all corridors at each level. This helps to
balance the work flow by taking the stations connected to the shuttle by the
high-speed elevator.
Equip2go.com.au
is an Australian company that is rapidly gaining momentum in the field. They
have developed Kiva as a mobile shelling solution with a very simple and
scalable implementation. The scallop starter kit lets customers quickly
understand the benefits of the GTP system while avoiding the “Big Bang”.
Modules can then be added at customer speeds to increase storage capacity or
throughput. Highly functional standard software package allows seamless
integration into existing warehouse management systems.
It
has blurred the lines between shuttle and AMR technology with its Skyped with
fur. Like other companies, its robots have the ability to climb inside the
racking isle. However, what sets Skyped apart from other solutions is its
robotic ability to store media and transport and cargo to and from the station.
Prior
to their acquisition by Robotics in 2012, equip2go
introduced the first mobile shelling orders fulfilment technology. Through the
use of mobile robotics that pass under blocks of stationary shelters and bring
them to worker peak stations, Kiva initiated the GTP process. However, in April
2015, Amazon announced that it would no longer sell or endorse Kiva products
outside of the Amazon supply chain. Since then, Kiva has been in the race to
get rid of Kiva-type solutions by avoiding many patents.
